- Select the version of armor you would like to apply, Imperial styles will have a cost of 0.
- Each armor type is sub-categorized by weight: Light, Medium, and Heavy

To customize a specific gear slot, select the slot from under the Armor Styles or Weapon Styles categories to see all of your available options. As you select options for different slots, you'll see how they'll look on your character. Note that you are not actually modifying your items, but overriding the appearance of each individual slot. Skins and Polymorphs in Elder Scrolls Online (ESO) are collectibles that alter the player's skin texture and/or appearance.Skins, when equipped, visually changes the player's skin texture, while Polymorphs alters the whole appearance of the player - both categories cannot be equipped at the same time, where Skins will be disabled if a Polymorph is used. You can click the appearance button and select the color you wish to use, or you can drag the color from your inventory over to the empty appearance slot. If you change your mind, just move a new color into that slot. Step 3: Placing a dye into the appearance slot will give you the option to. Hopefully I understand you correctly. The only way to alter (convert) the armor you have is if you have the imperial edition. You can then right click and convert to imperial. You can not change the style of armor already made otherwise.
Polymorphs are cosmetic collectables which visually transform your character completely. They take precedence over all other cosmetic and equipment items. Polymorphs were originally classed as costumes.
